Open gun kydex holster??? Challenge accepted and conquered. Bul Armory has some funky trigger guards and this guy could not find a race holster that correctly Fit it. The frame mounted optic was the only challenge in this but still wasn't a deal breaker.

The First Ever Brew City Open ran by @nisa_uspsa is in the books. What a fantastic match this was. 5 closer but more technical stages and 5 bigger more open stages. Lots of challenges but not too complicated where I'm just confused for 10 stages. This is the second Major match that I've been able to sponsor and I love seeing people get a chance to win a free holster. Giving back to the shooting community is more important than making money (my accountant hates me) I hope to see this match grow bigger and bigger. Huge thanks to the ROs for keeping everyone safe and running the stages. All the other admins and staff for running everything else thats required to make matches happen, to all the volunteers that helps with set up. Big thanks to whoever made me that awesome burger for lunch 😋, and huge thanks to the big man in charge @eric._.kamps for making all this possible.

Sometimes the ROs on your squad might need some help, taking over the tablet for 2-3 shooters can really make things easier for everyone. Running the tablet is pretty easy too. In this video I go over the basics of it. There's more that can be learned, but this is going to be what you'll see at most matches.

Learn how to use the tablet. Help ROs when you can. Be the hero.

The Northern IL Sectional is over and what a match

The Northern IL Sectional is over and what a match it was. Got to see most of the homies, got to see tons of people crush it, got to see all the hard work of all the volunteers pay off.

Black Mammoth Holsters would not be what it is today if it wasn't for the Chicagoland USPSA scene. I was selling 1 holster month if I was lucky prior to getting involved. The USPSA homies started checking me out, started telling all their friends and then eventually asked me to sponsor the event. This community is amazing and I want to do anything and everything I can to give back to it.

Big Thanks to Jose, Tony, Albert and Joe for putting this event on. And to all the Volunteers that helped with set up, that helped build new stage props, that repaired and fixed everything and were the ROs for the match. All these people took time out of their life to make this event happen and didn't get a penny to do it.

The BMH team raised over $2700 for the @chicago_veterans organization. We walked 20 miles up the lake front of Chicago with 1100 other people. Was a great event.

Last year I raised less than $200, $2700 is an outstanding increase. This could not have been accomplished without the donations made from supporters of my company. You guys are awesome.
